In 2003 Kyocera adopted Brush Farm Park in North Ryde as their Business Clean Up Day site. This valley had been used for many years as an illegal dumping ground and was overrun with weeds. |
|
The team at Kyocera returned to the site on Business Clean Up Day for four years running and removed many tonnes of rubbish from the site, including parts of car bodies and building materials. Kyocera’s clean ups have supported work by local volunteers, lead by Peter Brown, to restore the valley to its former healthy and beautiful state. |

Kyocera’s work at Brush Farm Park is a excellent example of business working with the local community to achieve great things for the environment.
