KYOCERA'S NETWORK INTERFACE CARD OFFERS ADVANCED MULTI-LEVEL SECURITY
Secure access to the Network Interface Card configuration
By allowing two levels of access, administrators are given the ability to prevent unauthorized access to the configuration settings of the NIC configuration.
ADMINISTRATOR - Full access to all webbased settings via password protected access
PRINT OPERATOR - Password-based access to status page views and job based settings.
Securing access to the printer's services based on the user IP address
By giving administrators the ability to filter by IP addresses, Kyocera products offer the flexibility of assigning access rights to individual users by an address or range of addresses.
4 different ranges of IP addresses can be set for LPD, FTP, HTTP, SNMP,TELNET,Admin Manager and Logical Printers
Secure access to your device based on selected protocol
Unused or seldom used protocols can be disabled or restricted by IP address ranges. This reduces the potential of a security breach by only allowing user access to a given protocol based on security restrictions.
NetWare, AppleTalk, NetBEUI, SMTP andPOP3 can be either enabled or disabled based on the user's IP address
